Summertime Saga: Realistic Remake is a photorealistic look a-like Ren'Py visual-novel. Follow a young man after his father's funeral as he moves in with a family friend,
begins uncovering the pressure surrounding his father's debts, and prepares to return to college.
v0.2.0 - Realistic Remake:
– The first school day now plays through from waking up to walking home with Erik.
– Eleven new story events: arriving at school and meeting Mia, the hallway run-in with Roxxy and Dexter, Kevin on cafeteria duty, the grades meeting in Principal Smith’s office, Annie and the master key at your locker, Judith outside the boys’ locker room, changing for athletics, Bridget’s athletics class, French class with attention - HACKER - attention and Eve, and the walk home with Erik.
– 233 new and updated renders: 169 brand new, plus 64 reshot.
– New main character, and Jenny has been remade. Older scenes still use the previous character and will be redone a few at a time in future builds.
– Jenny’s landing scene rebuilt from scratch, along with Erik, Debbie, and the morning wake-up.
– Fifteen new locations: school exterior, main and left halls, second floor, principal’s office, boys’ locker room, school track, French classroom, Debbie’s room, dining room, basement, garage, and your own locker.
– New game setup: choose your name and how Debbie and Jenny relate to you; dialogue throughout the story follows your choice.
– Music and ambience now follow the location and the time of day, with six new tracks.
– Spanish and Italian translations covering the prologue, the first day, free roam, the HUD, and every menu, with a flag language picker on the main menu.
– New image quality setting: Ultra at 1440p (default on PC) and High at 1080p, switchable without restarting.
– Android release, locked to 1080p.
– Download size cut by more than half, with faster scene loading on weaker machines.
– Menus no longer blur the background.

Console Activation

! Note: Messing around in the console can cause serious bugs, only enable console if you
know what you're doing and are happy to take the risk.
1) From the main game directory navigate to the renpy folder, then open the common folder
2) Find the 00console.rpy file and open with notepad++
3) Search for the line: # If true, the console is enabled despite config.developer being False.
4) Edit the line below from: config.console = False to config.console = True
5) Save and close the file
To open the console in game press: SHIFT + O
To close the console type in "exit" or right click

Increasing stats via the console WILL cause bugs, as events will not fire (especially
around the sister story line) so these instructions have been removed.
