This is exactly the sort of film that I wanted to make when I started this project. Nice compact story, well acted, with emotional impact, good angles, cool lighting, bullets, and blood. Marissa shines in the this brutal bloody shooting scene. Marissa and her partner return from a heist but the take is lighter than they thought. She is angry and frustrated at the small time scores, so pulls the gun on her partner. Her plan is to kill him and take the money and join a bigger gang. She aims the gun and fires - but she gets nothing but the dry click of an empty gun: her partner was a step ahead and removed the mag while counting the cash. She begs for her life as he pulls his revolver but her pleading is interrupted by the crack of gun fire and blood spurts from her belly as the bullet rips into her flesh. She staggers in shock and pleads for her life as he takes aim and fires again, this time hitting her chest. She slams against the wall and slides down to the floor as her partner gathers the cash and leaves her to bleed out. She tries to drag herself across the floor but the pain is too much. She coughs up blood and dies on the cold warehouse floor
