Un ricco finanziere organizza un furto sensazionale, servendosi di mercenari che non conoscono il mandante del colpo. La polizia rintraccia uno dei ladri ma non puo' risalire alla mente che ha ideato la rapina. La societ? assicuratrice allora affianca una bella e spregiudicata cacciatrice di taglie al detective titolare dell'indagine. La bella Greta (Greta Martini) usando I suoi metodi anticonvenzionali avvicina varie persone del jet set e, dopo qualche tentativo, non riuscito, individua in Terry Caldwell (Denis Marti') il probabile organizzatore della rapina. Tra i due nasce un gioco pericoloso di seduzione con lo scopo, non troppo occulto, di mettere l'altro nel sacco. Greta col suo fascino e I suoi modi ammalianti fa breccia nello scudo di Caldwell e facilita il fatto che la polizia possa raccogliere gli indizi necessari a poterlo incastrare. Caldwell, spinto dalla voglia di stupire pianifica un nuovo colpo e lascia a Greta la scelta se tradirlo o farlo catturare. Greta si fara' vincere dal fascino di Caldwell o sar? ligia al suo dovere?
